Godzilla: Monster Music [Videos]
Epic Music For The King of the Monsters
Starting with his first appearance in 1954s Gojira (followed by the 1956 edit, Godzilla, King of the Monsters!), music has been a big part of the Godzilla experience. Below are various pieces of music written for or in tribute of the King of the Monsters.
Chris Classic - Here We Go ft. Eminem (Godzilla vs. Kong Trailer Music) - Baytee Remix
This fan edit combines footage from the trailer for 2021's Godzilla vs Kong with battle scenes from 2017’s Kong: Skull Island and 2019’s Godzilla King of the Monsters. The footage plays out over a mashup of three hip-hop songs, including “Here We Go,” which appeared in the official trailer.

“Godzilla” (remake of the BOC song)
Found on the motion picture soundtrack of 2019’s Godzilla TKOM, composer Bear McCreary and guest Serj Tankian provide a fresh remake of Blue Oyster Cult's classic rock tribute.
Jimmy Page with Puff Daddy “Come With Me” live
One of the few bright spots for Godzills fans to come out of 1998’s film was this collaboration between hip-hop star Puff Daddy and rock legend Jimmy Page. This live performance finds the Led Zeppelin guitarist recreating his classic riff from the band's “Kashmir.”
(Full disclosure: While I do not consider the monster in the 1998 movie to be the real Godzilla, I still like the movie. As such, I loved seeing the two monsters square off in Godzilla: Final Wars.)
“Godzilla” Blue Oyster Cult
Blue Oyster Cult’s 1977 single was the first track from the band’s album Spectres. Although it failed to chart, the song became legendary. It is now one the band’s best-remembered songs, alongside “(Don't Fear) The Reaper” [more cowbell!] and “Burnin' for You.”
