Horror movie legend Christopher Lee sings the holiday song “Jingle Hell”—“My great grandparents were opera singers.”

“It’s entertaining. It’s certainly different.”

Every monster movie fan should know about Christopher Lee, who has appeared in lots of horror films, including Hammer’s Dracula series, plus has appeared in big fantasy film series like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. What you may have missed was his heavy metal releases—including more than one offering heavy metal-battered versions of Christmas songs.

“My great grandparents were opera singers,” he told BBC 6Music. “I suppose you could say it’s genetic. I inherited an instrument.”

In the video below, listen to his version of a Christmas classic—retread as “Jingle Hell.”
