Beetlejuice on stage: Behind the Scenes on Broadway

Go backstage to see how Broadway brought Beetlejuice back to life in 2019. ABC News’ Will Ganss went one-on-one with the ghost with the most himself, Alex Brightman.
The original 1988 classic horror-comedy movie Beetlejuice told the story of a ghostly husband and wife trying to stop their home from being completely remodeled by its new residents, and calling on the titular bio-exorcist. Directed by Tim Burton, Beetlejuice starred Michael Keaton as the main character. Beetlejuice also starred Winona Ryder, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin, Catherine O’Hara, and Glenn Shadix, among others.
Warner Bros. has also said that Beetlejuice 2 is officially in the works. Beetlejuice has also inspired a cartoon TV show, video games, and a stage musical. There’s even a cookbook!
